Wide Eyed Baby

Visual identity system and illustration for Wide Eyed Baby a project to produce high contrast illustrations to stimulate newborns' developing eyesight

Infants have difficulty distinguishing between gradations of light because their retinas and brain pathways are not fully developed. Because of this newborns and young babies are most stimulated visually by high contrast imagery specifically with thick lines and rounded edges. Wide Eyed Baby aims to produce high contrast print art and products for infants that can be appreciated by babies and their parents.

I created their logo and identity system and contributed these simple nocturnal animal characters.
