Crawl for a Cause
Visual identity system, branding, marketing, and web design for Crawl for a Cause, an organization that raises funds for charitable causes through social events
Crawl for a Cause is a charitable organization that hosts unique and entertaining events (bar crawls, happy hours, parties) to drive donations to a variety of causes. I worked with the founders to establish their visual identity system.
Their brand is lighthearted while evoking a responsibility to the community. They needed visual elements that represented both their serious causes and jovial events. I chose a dependable blue punctuated by vibrant gradients utilizing a playful heavy sans-serif in a sturdy symmetrical logo and lettermark. I designed and developed a custom website, crawlforacause.org, to communicate their story, share the good work they are doing, and help visitors get involved.

My work with Crawl for a Cause is ongoing designing social media marketing images, posters, flyers, and iconography. I continue to maintain and update their website.
For their 2019 Summer Solstice Happy Hour I implemented a summer-y sunset gradient map and wave motif over photos of the event space taken by CFAC team members.

Crawl for a Cause is a rewarding project that brings exciting opportunities as they grow their organization. I even got to design two massive LED billboard along Route 28 in Pittsburgh.
